I have listened to the audio download and am reading the ebook. I have lived as an empath all of my life. I am glad to find guidance that is not mired in the notion that my gift persecutes me or is something from which I must be protected. It greatly helped me to understand what I am, why I feel the need to cry (even when I am not sad), and much much more! Should I get Pro Tools or Cubase?
Hi, I am trying to pick a DAW for my home recording. I have a Dell Inspiron running 64 bit Windows 7 with a 1 TB HDD, 8 GB RAM, and 7200 RPM. I am deciding between Cubase 6 and Pro Tools LE 9... which would be best for my situation? I am interested in using MIDI but also recording some instruments such as guitars, vocals, Using ableton With Logic synths, drums, but I want a DAW that is versatile. I am leaning towards Cubase because Steinberg doesn't limit you to Digidesign hardware, it has better MIDI capabilities, more plugins for cheaper, and, according to many articles I have read, it seems to be better for producing music. Pro Tools to me seems to be more suited for the actual recording of real instruments and mixing them, rather than making music with MIDI. What do you think would suit my needs better? I have narrowed it down to these two DAWs because I want to start producing serious music, and I also understand there are other options such as Logic (but I don't have a Mac anyway), Reason, Ableton Live, FL Studio, etc. Thank you for your answers!
