Midi software?
I just bought an Axiom 61 midi keyboard and I'm still learning about how it works and how to use the software. I bought it mainly so I could play on it (can't afford a piano or a decent keyboard). I don't really have much need for the ability to record stuff. The midi keyboard came with Upgrade ableton 6 To 7 Ableton Lite 6.0.1 which is cool and fairly easy to use I think, but this watered down version of Ableton has a very limited number of instruments to work with and apparently doesnt have just a regular piano sound. To upgrade would cost more than I can spend right now. Are there any fairly inexpensive programs that I can get that will provide good sounds so that I can just play it like a regular keyboard?I'm a college student so funds are very limited. I have about 50 bucks to work with. What's the best way to go? I'd be happy if all the program did was make it sound like a piano.
