Cubase sx3, Why doesn't the audio/midi driver work? (Need both audio and midi in the same project)?
I've started making music with cubase sx3 and my yamaha psr k1 usb keyboard but have run into a problem. I use the ASIO4ALL v2 audio driver in order to record sound from my keyboard with an input latency of 1.451 ms and an output latency of 2.902 ms but the problem Usb audio Midi is that once i've recorded a midi track using this driver, if i add an audio track, i can't hear, record or do anything with it unless i switch over to the ASIO DirectX Full Duplex Driver or ASIO Multimedia Driver which now allow me to input audio on to the audio track but now i can't record any sound to the midi tracks because Those 2 have too high of an input latency that everything is messed up. So am stuck with either using ASIO4ALL v2 audio driver and making song purely out of midi tracks without any audio or voice tracks or using the DirextX or Multimedia Driver to make a song purely with audio tracks with only already prerecorded audio as the input latency is to high to record any live audio or midi. Some1 help please
