Please Help! Soundcard does not support direct sound input? *Presonus Audiobox/Cubase LE?
Hi all, I just purchased a recording interface so I can digitally record my guitar to my computer. I bought the Presonus Audiobox USB. Anyway, it comes with Cubase LE (recording software by Steinberg) and I installed the Audiobox and Cubase presonus Recording Software LE. When I loaded Cubase LE I got the message "The currently installed soundcard driver does not support Direct Sound Input. Recording audio is not possible."I am using a new computer running on windows Vista. I am wondering if I missed something when installing or do I really need to purchase a new sound card? Could this be fixed with an updated driver download or does my soundcard not work for this??? Pretty upsetting seeing I just bought the computer like 4 months ago... What do you guys think???
