regarding PA systems, i have been experiencing "squelches" and high frequencies during live performances.
i play in a rock and roll band and sometimes when or during our songs, the Rackmount Daw audio PA system emits a high frequency or squelch that is unpleasant to the ears. i am not very experienced in the area of doing sound for a live band during live performances, do they have some rackmounts available that surpress the unwanted noise but does not compromise the tone quality? can you offer some suggestions? would a rackmount "compressor" work?

A PS/2 mouse needs to be connected before windows boots. PS/2 mice are NOT hot pluggable.

Well, it really depends on whether you’re a studio musician, a live performer, or a teenager just learning how to play.I’m guessing you’re the latter, so just get the Line6 POD.

You could probably have one made special but there are no power supplies that are designed for this. It would be way easier to just plug straight into the wall instead of what ever power you are trying to use.

A rackmount is a special form for computers or other equipment. Imagine, if you will, computers shaped as pizza boxes. Compared to typical computer cases, you can stack more (one of top of each other) with the pizza boxes. The reason why it’s used is because there’s much more density packed in a rackmount form then in typical cases. As you may have guess, there’s not much room in rackmounts, which is fine because most computer server or equipment rooms would favor density over ease of use.

yeah you dont need any of that, thru your provider you should be able to get a “home networking” modem. only one box, alot easier to set up and have it be compatible. plus your ISP can support any issues it has and send you a new one.

This unit supports RAID and depending on the RAID level set you may only see two of four drives. Check the RAID settings and if you want to use all four drives either don’t use raid or set it to RAID 0.You can download the users manual from the Dell Site. Just enter the Service Code on the unit or look up by the model number.http://supportapj.dell.com/support/index.aspx
