My midi keyboard won't connect with computer, can someone help?
Can anybody give me some advice? I just recently bought a Yamaha Motif 8 keyboard along with a Digidesign Mbox 2. I digidesign Mbox 2 Pro Factory bought MIDI cables and hooked it up correctly. When I use my Pro Tools or Reason programs it won't read my device or it won't even show that it is connected. I read the manual for Pro Tools and it said to make sure I have the MIDI settings on my computer modified. Are there any? If so, how do I modify them? Any suggestions would help drastically, thanx!
