…if you’ve listened to her first album: 1) Vocal Perfection2) Emotional Lyrics3) BalladsThis album is very similar to the first, but after several listens to both, there are SUBTLE differences, including better (more mature) lyrics, epic background music, fewer love songs, and a little more focused style-wise. She does stick to the same basic formula (mid-tempo ballads with 1 stand-out track, “Forgive Me” on the first album and “Outta My Head” on this one), but it works for her.Pretty much, you know not to expect synthesizers, A-list (or more than 1) guest appearances, rapping or rump shaking beats. So people should not judge the album based on what everyone else is doing. As for growth, this album showcases VERY sublte changes that I will not classify as better or worse than the first album. It sticks to the same formula without sounding EXACTLY like the first album (play both back to back and you will notice variations more easily).I think this is a good album if you enjoy
