This song is very beautiful, the lyrics are so poignant and thoughtful. I guess as most Death Cab songs are. The vocals are very “pretty” and every time I listen to the song, I get this feeling in the pit of my chest, almost bittersweet, thinking someone could feel that way about another person. OK, so emo!

I counted down the days until this CD was released because to me Bullet For My Valentine is just one of those bands that are truly unique and have a killer sound. When I sat down and put this CD in to listen to it I have to say I loved it! The CD starts off heavy and ends just as heavy. This like their other CDs has some slower tunes but they still blow you away. I would definitely buy it if you are a fan of theirs:)

There’s some good stuff on here, fairly consistent effort. It seems a little poppy and weak lyrically at times would he my main criticism. If you like BFMV I’d say there’s a decent chance you’ll like 4-5 songs on here, if not more. I even like track 8, and I usually am not fond of their slow stuff. I’d give this 3 1/2 stars if I could.

Because..
This CD and the lostprophets recent release are very disappointing and that’s usually a sign that the partying is good. Maybe they’re worn out from touring but still the partying would be good. The music is suffering.
Well really the music here is somewhat good but the lyrics would make Atreyu or Children of Bodom blush.
I really don’t care how anybody’s girlfriend smells but if you have to put that in there at least put it in the harsh vocal parts where most people won’t understand all of it so it doesn’t ruin the whole dammed song…possibly the whole CD. Come on…if the lyrics mature this group will be very, very good.
I’ve really tried to like this CD. I’ve listened to it at least 12 times. I’ve kicked back and listened to it all by itself with no distractions. I’ve listened to it working out. I’ve listened to it in the car doing 80 miles and hour. I mean I’ve tried man, I’ve tried. The only time through it that I liked it I was a little drunk but then I played it 2 more times to be sure only to end up wondering what the he11 I was thinking?
I’m thinking I might listen to it next time I get drunk…I guess that’s worth a 2.
(weed makes the lyrics even worse because you just sit there and dwell on them so no need to bother going there)

I’ve listed this band as one of my favorites and proudly talked about them, even though something in the back of my head made me think I was embarrassing myself for doing so. The incredible guitar riffs and vocals apparently hid it well because this album lacks both and the lameness shines through.
It’s so uncool, and yes I’m sure they don’t care about being cool, just like Avril Lavigne doesn’t care.
They really need to work on their lyrics, but that’s not enough because the very ideas of the songs make me lose total respect. In the song ‘Fever’ the lyrics are:
It’s hot as hell in here
Everybody wants to lose control
The music’s turned up loud and the lights
Are turned down low
Everybody’s working for the weekend
Everybody wants to lose control
Everybody’s going off the deep end…
If you aren’t rolling your eyes right now, then you are 10 years old or younger. I am truly embarrassed and wince at the lyrics for pretty much every song. They need to grow up, grow in, and stop being a late 90’s stereotype.

I heard this on the alernative rock station yesterday afternoon. It is my new favorite song. Although done in rock style, the lyrics definitely convey the blues. And what a great song for the current dark economic climate. You may not consider yourself to be one of the wicked, but you have to agree that we all have bills to pay, mouths to feed and ain’t nothing in the world is free. I would like to hear this played live in a small club.
