This is a great album! I wasn’t a big fan of Nickelback until several songs were played on the radio. When you start listening, you’ll realize there are a few great ballads on this album including ‘Far Away’, this is a safe song that can be played at a funeral viewing because it has much depth-meaning and easy to hear the lyrics.
How do you install Propellerhead Reason 4 on "Ubuntu" Linux?
I am a College Student and a PC user. I produce Music (mainly Hip Hop) and I use Propellerhead Reason 4 and Recycle 2.1. I have asked before if I should get/switch to a New Macbook 2.0 Reason propellerhead Mac ghz($1,299) or the Newly Updated iMac 2.66 ghz($1,199). Macbook Pro is just way too expensive what its size and what it offers. I'm looking to switch to a new computer system on an affordable budget. A couple of people answered me by saying that I should get an Alienware Laptop (Area-51 m15x costing $1,199) and use Linux "Ubuntu". Is it possible to install Propellerhead Reason 4 and Recycle 2.1 on Ubuntu? If so, how to I go about doing so? I read that Reason only runs for Windows and Mac!??

Once again Nickleback delivers! I have not heard one bad song from then yet. Love it!

This is an awesome CD. Nickelback is a great group. I really enjoy listening to them. Some terrific songs; Photograph, Savin’ Me, If Everyone Cared. I don’t think there is one that’s not good!
Worth the $

This is my favorite Nickelback album. I own 4 albums, and they are all a little different from eachother, clearly showing how outside influences affected the songwriting. 20 years ago I was an avid Van Halen fan, and owned several albums of the David Lee Roth era. The changes in style on each Van Halen album were similar to the changes in style on each Nickelback CD. You can tell the band members were in certain stages of their lives from the flavors of the albums. I love this NB CD because it speaks to my inner crazy 17-year-old. “Photograph” brings me back to my glory days every single time I listen to it. “Animals” makes me want to have sex with my husband in the back seat, if we were limber enough anymore! The ballads are sexy and sweet, and the harder music plucks every uninhibited impulse in my brain. I would love to see Nickelback in concert. Waiting for “the next go round” of tours!

While some might say that this group is a slightly formulaic, you can’t deny they do it well. The lyrics, instrumentals and vocal work show a band that has earned it’s place. I have several of their earlier albums, each showing improvement. The music is a mix of rock with a touch of grunge for spice. Looking forward to seeing these guys on stage someday.

Though this album is rather safe, and not heavy, I think this isn’t a heavy band by nature. This album reminds me, heavily, of the nineties, like Hootie and the Blowfish, Pearl Jam, and Matchbox 20.

The follow-up to “Getting Back Your Self Esteem”. This album shows OLR taking on my personal topics – relationships, hurt, loss, love and everything in between. Another album full of singles, with a few updated versions of previously released material that doesn’t disappoint. A must-have from this outstanding group

I first found Rise Against on iTunes… They were giving their song “Hero of War” away as a demo. They have deep, meaningful songs and are absolutely great to listen to, especially when you are pissed off about politics and everything else with our modern world. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with ears and say that you must be on crack to not like them.

There’s some good songs on this record, that sound like they were inspired by Punk music. Then there is also a metal edge to it as well. After that though, it does go off in other directions, that might detract from the overall sound of the band.

I like the song “Savior”, so I bought this CD. You could download the hit single “Savior”, but I am a sound quality snob and I don’t own a computer anyway.

Watch your speed limit with this one in the player of your vehicle!!! The CD opens with lightning riffs and melodic harmonies. This CD is my first of Rise Against and will definitely not be my last. I love the whole CD, but my faves are Collapse (track 1), Re-education Through Labor (track 3), Kotov Syndrome (track 5), From Heads Unworthy (track 6), Entertainment (track 9), Savior (track 11) and Whereabouts Unknown (track 13). The other songs are nice fills between these hand picked few. I found myself listening to the whole CD twice before I realized it had repeated.
