Audio Latency and Sound Cards?
When I try to record something with my guitar through an audio interface in Cubase LE, I want to have playback on so I can hear what I play. The problem is that there is a major lag between when I strum and when the sound comes out of the computer. Cubase No audio After some research I discovered it had to do with Audio Latency. The problem is probably my sound card, because it isn't very ASIO friendly (I think). It's some realtek sound card.If anyone has any experience on the subject, would switching to a sound blaster card (Audigy? I think it's called) fix my problem or am I completely off? Do I need to change my Audio Interface (Currently Zoom H4)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.(I get no recording lag when playback is off, it would just be nice to hear what it sounds like while I'm recording)
